New Canvas

I took this with my Nikon FM-10, using Kodak Kodachrome 64. I placed the apple on a window sill and used natural light from the North. (I think this is the best natural light to use because light from the North is reflective light from the moisture in the air.) I used a +1, +2, and +4 macro filter to tighten in the apple. I couldn't apply the rule-of-thirds in any satisfying way, so I broke tradition. After I scanned the photo, I adjusted the curves and tone to create a monocolor. I wasn't really pleased with the results. So I took my Kodak DC215 digital camera and took a few shots of my garage floor to use as a new layer. After a few new layers and by using calculations I finally came up with this.
